Transformer Inspection

A skilled technician should be able to perform onsite tests to determine what needs to be done in order to get a transformer working properly. Diagnosing problems is a function of performing the right tests. Thus, when you are looking for a field dressing company, you need to make sure that they have the equipment and training to perform a wide range of tests. Some industrial transformers are so huge that they cannot be transported on one truck. This is where undressing and dressing become critical. Undressing refers to breaking down a transformer and preparing it for shipping and dressing, to re-installing the industrial transformer at the location once it has been refurbished. Although transformers are large, they are delicate pieces of machinery, so you need to make sure whichever company you work with has the skill to ensure the safety of your equipment.

You can the build a partnership with that company so that you know that when you have a problem that needs to be taken care of in a time-sensitive manner, you have someone who will get the job taken care of quickly and correctly.
